Burnley boss Sean Dyche was happy for goalscorer Robbie Brady after their 1-1 draw with Everton.
Brady opened the scoring at Turf Moor with a fine right-footed strike past England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Dyche said, “We started the game nice and brightly, took it on and scored a good early goal from Robbie, who I am delighted for.
“He's had a tough time lately, along with Johann, who we had to make a decision on today to protect him.
“They've both had a tough time with injuries, but Robbie gave a really balanced performance today.
“His whole feel, his work ethic, his shape and the fact he kept trying to find the moments and came up with a good goal.
“In the end, he was just cramping up, as he works his way back to full fitness, and we can't have him breaking down again."
