Burnley boss Sean Dyche was pleased with their 1-1 draw against Everton.

Dyche felt a draw was the least his side deserved from a solid display against the Toffees.

The Burnley boss said: “I thought we delivered a really good performance in general, and especially in the first half, when we showed good energy against a good outfit.

“I think we have given as good as we've got, if not more, but barring the Manchester City game, when they took us to bits, we've been excellent lately.

“City can do that to most teams, but in the last four or five games we have been showing more signs.

“We did more things right today and overall, there are a lot of good things about what we are trying to do here.

“It's no surprise that it's happening when the squad is getting fitter and the injuries are getting less, so there's more strength in depth.

“The competitive spirit is good and there is a belief in each other to go and perform. Coming off that result at City, it was a challenge, but it was a good reaction today and we showed a really solid performance."
