RB Leipzig are set to sign Angelino outright from Manchester City over January.
With his loan deal carrying an €18m permanent option, it will be triggered once Angelino turns out for five more games.
Angelino first signed with RBL in January and the loan was extended for this season.
BILD says everything is now on track for RBL to sign Angelino permanently, despite their budget being currently stretched.
In the current season, the left-back is proving one of the best players in the Bundesliga with eight goals and six assists in 20 games.
