TAWAU: The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) will step up its effort to encourage more youngsters to donate blood next year. Sabah MRCS Deputy Chairman, Leslie Chan Boon Siang, stressed this during a blood donation campaign jointly held by its Tawau chapter and the blood bank of Tawau hospital where 45 pints of blood were collected. Since the beginning of Movement Control Order (MCO) in March, 22 chapters of MRCS organised blood donation campaigns in their respective district and have collected a total of 6,200 pints of blood so far.
