Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has revisited his departure from PSG.

Speaking with Canal Football Club, Silva again admitted he was upset with the way he was treated in the final months of his career in Paris.

He said, "(Sporting director) Leonardo called me, he told me that I was not part of the club project, that I could leave. It was very hard for us to accept that. I made the decision to start choosing where I could play.

"After the Champions League final he called me into his office and asked if I had already signed with another club. I said no but that I had given Chelsea my word and that I was going to sign in the evening. For me, the most important thing is talking. Once you've said things, you can't change your mind like that. In my opinion, they changed their mind after the Champions League. I displayed qualities, and the thing that leaves me sad is those years gone by ... I did eight years there and they didn't take into account only three games to change their mind.

"Everything I did before was wasted. It's sad to make a decision like that, but it's football."
