Departing Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has confirmed contact with Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Khedira says he'd be open to moving to Goodison Park, though nothing is yet settled.
“We talked on the phone and exchanged messages. You know my situation," said Khedira, “It could end up being a completely different club. Even outside of England.
“I currently still have so much strength and energy, so I'm not dealing with summer 2021, but December and January. A change is realistic; my full focus is on that."
He also told BILD: “I am open to a new sporting challenge. I've had a hard time and want to play football again, fighting for three points week after week.
"That's what I long for."
