Repatriation of Filipinos to resume Dec 15

Kota Kinabalu: The National Security Council (NSC) here will resume the repatriation of Filipino deportees next week.

Its Sabah Director Sharifah Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof (pic) said the repatriation of not more than 400 deportees is to be carried out on Dec 15 (Tuesday).

She said Zamboanga-based Antonia 1 ferry is expected to arrive at the Sandakan Port on Tuesday and resume the repatriation exercise.

“After all the designated deportees have boarded, the appointed vessel will immediately return to its port of call the same day,” she said.
