West Brom are watching Crawley Town's rising striker prospect Max Watters.

The Daily Mail says interest in Watters, 21, is mounting after his goal-filled start to his Crawley career since his arrival in October.

Watters has scored 12 goals in just 14 games after adding two more to his tally at Mansfield on Saturday and quickly emerged as one of the division's most clinical strikers.

Watters's displays have been noted and tempted scouts from a number of top-flight clubs to the Broadfield Stadium to run the rule over him.

West Brom and Watford are among a number of sides to have made checks on Watters who has also been subject of interest from League One and Belgium.
