Plea on Membakut roads

MEMBAKUT: The Sabah Ethnic Association (Presbah) is urging the relevant authorities to repair damaged gravel roads here. 

Its President Yahya Ahmad said it is an urgent matter as the road is a frequented path used by the community to go towards Kg Brunei’s Islamic Cemetery and tourist destination, namely Tuai Paradise.

“If the authorities can’t upgrade it fully, at least conceal the potholes with stones to prevent it from deepening even further which would only continue to inconvenience the road users,” he told Daily Express.

He added that there are many other problematic roads along Jalan Suak Dadil Saga-Saga and Jalan Limadang, such as the potholes at the end of a bridge in Kg Tengah Binsulok.
