Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho admits Tanguy Ndombele missed the north London derby due to fitness issues.
The French midfielder has been excellent this season but was forced to miss Sunday's 2-0 win over Arsenal.
"[It was] a problem [Ndombele] couldn't recover from," Mourinho told Sky Sports News ahead of the game.
"We were positive and expecting until the last moment but this morning he decided he was not ready."
