In 2020, the pandemic has disrupted people’s lives while many youths returned to their hometowns after losing their jobs, she said, adding many industries had been affected, resulting in the global economic slowdown. 

“But if I may say so, the Covid-19 pandemic exposed the huge development gap between Sabah, Sarawak and Semenanjung,” she said in her winding up speech at the Warisan Wirawati annual general assembly on Saturday.

She said many things happened in the year 2020, among them the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan Federal government due to actions of some MPs who colluded to form what have been known by some today as the “backdoor Federal Government.”
