Stateless kids can study with eschool2u

Kota Kinabalu: Strict enforcement of the provisions in the Education Act 1996 or Act 550, which require every pupil in public schools to be a citizen, deprived many stateless children of admission to formal schooling in such schools.

The issue of stateless children not being allowed to attend school can be solved the availability of eschool2u.com.my that offers primary school to secondary school subjects in accordance with the education syllabus mandated by the Ministry of Education.

Selina Hj Light (pic), the General Manager of eschool2u.com.my, told Daily Express that all subjects offered by her school can be accessed anyway with an Internet link, “are perfect and without any defects.”

For example, there is a present case where a seven-year-old born in 2014, and adopted by Malaysian parents in 2017, but was unable to be registered for school, although the parents have obtained the adoption certificate issued by the National Registration Department (NRD).
