Former Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari has returned to management - in Mexico.
The Argentine has been named new coach of Club America.
Solari replaces Miguel Herrera, who left the post in mid-December after losing the CONCACAF Champions semi-final to LAFC.
In Madrid he replaced Julen Lopetegui on October 29, 2018, won the Club World Cup and was dismissed on March 11, 2019.
As a player, Solari played for Atlante between 2009 and 2010 in Mexico.
