RM90,000 syabu bound for Labuan intercepted; 3 held

MENUMBOK: Three people, including a woman, were arrested and 2kg of suspected Syabu (pic) worth RM90,000 were seized at the Menumbok jetty on Monday. They have been remanded.

 Beaufort district police chief DSP Azmir Abd Razak said the arrests were made by the State Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) together with police from the Federal Territory of Labuan, Beaufort district and Kuala Penyu.

 He said police made an observation in the loading area by the beach of Kg Mempakul after receiving a tip-off related on a transaction involving drugs in the area.
