SANDAKAN: A wooden house in Kg Rancangan Sungai Manila was destroyed in a fire early Saturday.The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 6.10am via MERS 999 before rushing to the scene 33km away. According to the Operations Commander, the fire involved a non-permanent house with an estimated area of 40’ x 50 ‘ and was 100 per cent destroyed.

Firemen managed to control the fire from spreading and subsequently managed to control the fire at 7.50 am.
