Must inform public gatherings from now

Kota Kinabalu: The District Disaster Operations Control Centre (PKOB) must be informed of any activity or social event involving public gatherings. 

 The directive came following the State Disaster Management Committee’s decision that PKOBs in every respective district should be informed of any such public gatherings for the purpose of monitoring Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance which has been outlined by local authorities.

 This was announced by State Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic) who is also the State’s official Covid-19 spokesperson, in his daily Covid-19 statement, here, Tuesday.

 Meanwhile, Sabah recorded 383 positive Covid-19 cases and five Covid-19 fatalities on Tuesday. Of this, 250 were from close contact screenings, 64 from symptomatic screenings, 31 from new and existing cluster screenings and 36 from other categories.
