Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has been offered to Newcastle United.
The Evening Chronicle says Newcastle are one of the clubs that have been offered the chance to sign former England Under-21 international Choudhury.
The 23-year-old central midfielder has made just 10 appearances for Leicester City this season and is in need of regular first-team action.
Choudhury was at the centre of an ugly clash with Matt Ritchie in a League Cup tie against the Foxes in 2019 that left the winger sidelined for months.
But Choudhury - who is contracted until 2023 - is now in need of first-team action and his agent is weighing up potential suitors.
Southampton have also had a big interest in the last 12 months.
