Sevilla chief Monchi has confirmed their move for Atalanta winger Papu Gomez.
Sevilla have offered to take Gomez on-loan with a €8m option, while La Dea want €10m.
Monchi revealed Sevilla are in talks with La Dea.
“We are working on it, but there's still a long way," he said.
The former Atalanta captain is leaving the club after a bust-up with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
