Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce admits they'll be working the loan market this month.
The Magpies added three players on six-month loans in January 2020
Bruce told Sky Sports: "I've made it public that if there's one or two out there like we did last year with a loan situation that can improve us then we'll try and look at that.
But I think a lot of teams are in the same boat as us with what's happened with Covid and all the rest of it.
"I can't see there being much transfer activity in January and that will go for us as well."
