Davide Nicola wants to introduce a clean slate at Torino.
Nicola was appointed Toro coach this week after the sacking of Marco Giampaolo.
“We need the group and we need honest relationships," Nicola said. “We need to be comfortable with each other and believe in the work.
“I don't care what we did before. I wasn't there, it's not up to me to judge. I worked on the priorities and have my third training today.
“The group is fundamental, then the rest will come. The results are a consequence. I will never ask for a result, but a performance made up of balance and without fear of making a mistake.
“I want to see a performance with two principles."
Nicola aims to build a "new path to reach salvation" in Serie A.
He continued: “We will have to build a new path to reach salvation. This is a club that has ambitions, but aware we need to take the next step," he said. “There have been requests for game principles. The goal is to apply these principles.
“I'm not interested in making mistakes and you have to make a mistake to make a mistake. You need concentration and determination, I'm convinced and believe in these guys."
