Mainz forward Jean-Philippe Mateta has arrived at Crystal Palace to undergo a medical ahead of a loan move to Selhurst Park.
The Frenchman will join on a 18-month loan deal for a fee of £2.7m
Sky Sportsreports Palace will have an obligation to buy for £13.4m if Mateta starts 15 Premier League games.
Palace and Mainz have yet to formally agree on the deal.
