David Alaba rejected 'very good offers' from Manchester United and Chelsea before deciding to join Real Madrid.

Multiple reports in Spain and Germany have stated Alaba has agreed to join Real when his contract expires with Bayern Munich at the end of this season.

The Austrian has agreed a four-year deal with a salary close to 11 million euros per year.

And Kicker says Premier League giants United and Chelsea also extended a contract to the versatile defender.

PSG and Barcelona were also named as a potential landing spots for the 28-year-old.

Alaba spent 11 years at the Allianz, winning nine Bundesliga titles and two Champions Leagues.
