Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has spoken about midfielder Granit Xhaka's return to form in glowing terms.
The Swiss was fantastic for the Gunners during a battling 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace at home on Thursday.
Their next game sees them take on Newcastle United on Monday.
"After the red card [against Burnley last month] with the history he had he was in a difficult place," Arteta said when asked about Xhaka.
"We had to try to bring him back where we believed he can be and should be, which is being one of the leaders in the team.
"And as you mentioned giving us this stability and presence that he can provide to the team and the club.
"I think since he's been back he's been phenomenal, he's playing really, really well. He's still a player who can evolve and it's great for us to have him back."
