Reading fullback Omar Richards is in advanced talks with Bayern Munich.
The England U21 international, 22, comes off contract in June and is free to now commit to a pre-contract to any foreign team.
Sky Deutschland says Bayern are now in contact with Richards about a Bosman move to Munich.
The German giants need to find cover at left-back as they prepare to lose David Alaba to a Bosman transfer this summer. Richards would arrive as a backup to Alphonso Davies.
He has played 20 matches in the Championship for Reading this season.
