Arsenal have gone cold on pursuing a deal for Norwich City attacker Emi Buendia.
The Argentine is a January target for Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.
However, Norwich's £40m asking price is deemed too rich by Arsenal's board.
The Daily Express says Arsenal have pulled back from negotiations and won't return unless Norwich drop their assessment.
Buendia has played in 19 league games this season, scoring 7 goals and making 7 assists.
