RANAU: The welfare of underprivileged occupants in Don Bosco Bundu Tuhan Children’s Home continues to get the attention of local leaders who donated in the form of food items, school equipment and financial contributions during Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0.

Kong Soon Choi, who is also the Deputy Chief of Wiramuda Sabah Star Party, with his wife Amylia Nasun, presented some contributions in the form of food and finance to the residents and staff of the hostel to ease their burden.

Kong said the donation was a practice carried out by him and his family every year to help underprivileged children as well as ease the administrative burden of Don Bosco Hostel which is responsible for looking after the welfare of hostel residents from various backgrounds from all over Sabah.

“I am called to extend a little help to Don Bosco Hostel children and staff of this hostel because I am aware of their difficulties during MCO. I hope it can help ease their burden,” he said, Thursday.
