New KKCF Chairman

DATUK James Hwong You Chuaang has been appointed the new Chairman of the Kota Kinabalu Charity Foundation (KKCF), replacing Yee Kon Pau, who will be retiring on February 1 after holding the post for 29 years. 

James’ appointment was made by the Board of Trustees of KKCF, which was formed in 1992 and registered under the Sabah Trustees Ordinance.

The Foundation allocates around RM30,000 every month to help the sick, poor and handicapped for their medical, surgery and living assistance, regardless of race, creed and religion.

Yee, in a statement, said he was grateful for the support of James, all the committee members, group leaders, regular donors and advisors for their continuous support which enabled the Foundation to carry out its charity activities continuously for about 29 years.
