Turkish club Kayserispor have appointed former Romanian and Chelsea star Dan Petrescu as manager.

The Super Lig club have secured Petrescu for one and a half years, per a statement on Twitter.

The 53-year-old played for the Blues between 1996 and 2000 as a right back.

Petrescu was part of the Romania teams in the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups.
