Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson hopes to keep hold of Christian Benteke.
Hodgson is aware of rumours West Brom want Benteke.
"I do [expect him to stay]," said the manager. "The speculation has not come from us, it's from outside.
"You can't dismiss that, there may be clubs interested and we may have a decision to make, but that's not the case today.
"Until something does happen, we'll carry on happily as we are now."
Hodgson remained coy on signing Leicester winger Demarai Gray. Reports suggest the 24-year-old will join Bayer Leverkusen.
"When he's been mentioned I've been keen not to lie and say I don't know him, but there's a big gap between that and signing him.
"Of course he's a good player, and with a contract running out he'll be a hot property."
