France coach Didier Deschamps insists there's never been any doubts about freezing Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema out of his squad.
Benzema hasn't been considered by Deschamps for over four years after becoming embroiled in an alleged kidnapping plot.
The striker and his allies have since attacked Deschamps, something which the Les Bleus coach has stated he can never forgive.
He also told Le Figaro: “I always take my decisions in my soul and conscience, for the good of the France team.
"Look at our figures on the offensive plan. Rarely, perhaps never, has an attack been as effective as the one currently playing.
"That is factual even if few talk about it..."
