Fulham have tabled a bid for Spezia striker Mbala Nzola.
TMW says the Cottagers have offered €10m for Nzola - a proposal which has been matched by another unnamed Premier League club.
However, Spezia are holding their nerve and insisting Nzola will not leave this month as they fight to stay up this season.
In just 13 games, Nzola has scored nine goals for the Serie A surprise packet.
And both members of the coaching staff and board have told Nzola directly they want him to stay for the remainder of the campaign.
