Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) reported a surplus in income compared to gross expenses last year, amid the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the State.

Its newly-appointed Chairman, Senator Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohd Yassin (pic), said SLDB’s financial situation showed good and positive growth, according to its gross income report for 2020.

“This situation proves that SLDB has a bright future and can go even further, especially as one of the effective and strong statutory bodies, to face whatever obstacles coming in this challenging era of globalisation,” he said in his New Year message posted in the Board’s website.
