Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was delighted for skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after his double in victory over Newcastle United last night.
Arteta praised the mentality shown by Aubameyang who ignored some early first half misses against Newcastle to finish the game with two goals - so helping the Gunners record a 3-0 win at the Emirates.
The manager revealed he had spoken to Aubameyang throughout his dry spell, but ultimately it was down to the striker to find a way back to his goalscoring form.
Arteta also praised the overall team effort on the night - particularly the clean sheet.
