Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani doesn't expect to be busy in the final days of the market.
Radrizzani reiterated why Leeds are not actively seeking to bring in new faces this month.
"We need to be smart, consistent, current and rational in our decisions," he said when speaking about his medium-term ambition for the club in which he is targeting European football in the next five-to-seven years.
"Even now when everyone is excited, it doesn't mean tomorrow we buy a player, unfortunately not, because the club is already financially exposed by the investment we've done this summer, being the sixth biggest club investing over £100m. So as a good custodian of the club we need to respect the numbers and we need to be rational.
"The moment that we are confirmed in the Premier League for the next season, we can be open to more opportunities. Today, this moment is not there yet. We are 12th in the league, we have 23 points, we need to have 40 to be in the Premier League next year, but we are not there yet. We need to earn every point before we can reach that point and then make a new plan."
