BEAUFORT: The relevant authority has been urged to seal the pothole on the exit road of Beaufort Sentral, facing the Dewan DSP Dun Banir, here which is very troublesome for road users especially those going in and out from the commercial area on a daily basis. Noranizam Ali said the pothole has been there for over a month but if it continues to be left just like that it may become a huge problem. “Vehicles going out from Beaufort Sentral through this exit road will hit this pothole especially at night time. Motorcyclists need to be careful when going through this road so not to hit the pothole, which may cause an accident,” he said, while hoping the relevant authority will immediately rectify the problem. Apart from that, he also highlighted the need to have a better drainage system to ensure fast flowing of rainwater from certain parts of the road within Beaufort Sentral, which would have pools of stagnant water whenever it rains.
