Brighton fullback Bernardo is set to join RB Leipzig.
Sky Sports says RB Salzburg are expected to sign left-back Bernardo from Brighton on loan for the rest of the season.
Talks are ongoing over his departure and the Brazilian was left out of Graham Potter's matchday squad for Saturday's 1-0 victory against Leeds in the Premier League.
Brighton recalled Poland international Michal Karbownik from his loan spell at Legia Warsaw yesterday – Karbownik is predominantly a left-back, although can play in midfield.
RB Salzburg are planning to use Bernardo as a defensive midfielder role as well as at left-back.
