Benfica are ready to cut short the loan of Gedson Fernandes at Tottenham.
The midfielder moved to Spurs a year ago on an 18 month loan, but has struggled for minutes this season.
O Jogo says Benfica plan to recall Gedson in the coming days - a decision which has the backing of the player and also Spurs manager Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho stated last month: "If Benfica wants to stop the agreement here, then we will cooperate because we want the best for the player.
"Benfica has the power to choose and it will be accepted by us."
