Plea to raise Beaufort road level

BEAUFORT: Residents here urged the government to elevate the road leading to six villages that are prone to floods.

A resident, Abd Sani Hj Mukji, said the road was always flooded every time it rains.

“The road is from Raja Parak, Kg Kurian, Padas Damit, Mentulud, Kg Berumbai, Kg Kangsa and Kg Bangkalahak that leads to six villages.

“I had called for the road to be elevated but there was no action from the government and leaders, causing villagers to feel disappointed.
