Liverpool failed with an offer for Juventus defender Merih Demiral during the January market.
Sportitalia reports Juventus turned down an offer of up to €57m for the Turkey international, with the bid being tabled in the final days of the winter window.
While Demiral has been battle for game time, Juve refused to let him go.
Liverpool have long been interested in Demiral.
The Turkey international has only recently recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
