RANAU: The State Government will use satellite or V-Sat line transmission to solve the problem of internet access in the state, especially those faced by villagers living in rural areas.

Sabah Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Yaakub Khan said short-term solutions using the satellite equipment would be used while waiting for a new substation to be built which is expected to be completed by 2022.
