TAWAU: Eight Indonesian illegal immigrants, including two children, were detained by the Sabah East Coast Special Security Area (Esscom) through an operation dubbed “Op Cegah Pati” (OCP) in Kg Kurnia Jaya, Batu 4 Jalan Apas around 10.30pm last Thursday. Esscom Commander DCP Datuk Ahmad Fuad Othman said all of them, aged between six and 47, were arrested while riding in a red Toyota Hilux pick-up.
