Lorry driver loses control

PENAMPANG: A 10-tonne truck carrying wooden planks lost control, causing an hour’s traffic congestion along Jalan Kibabaig, Penampang at 9am, Monday.

The driver, in his 40s, wanted to make a turn but lost control, causing the truck to be stuck in a horizontal position along the two-way road.

Penampang traffic police ensured the situation was kept under control and the planks on the truck were transferred to another vehicle before the lorry could be moved to allow road users to pass.
