Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola would be happy seeing Ilkay Gundogan win Player of the Year.
Guardiola was asked about the prospect at today's Champions League presser.
He said: "Yeah, I don't know. Maybe. He is playing really good.
"We will try to know to be close in April, May, to fight for the titles.
"And as much as you win, the closer we are to individual prizes but knowing Gundogan I think he would like it but he sleeps really well but just in case he is able to win this prize. "
