West Brom are targeting Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga.
The Daily Mail says the 21-year defender was an unused substitute in Sunday's 1-0 defeat against Brighton despite Jose Mourinho shuffling his back line and starting with three centre backs.
Mourinho is unsure about allowing the England Under-20 international to leave as he may need him as cover but Tanganga is keen to play regularly and gain vital experience which he believes he will gain at West Brom.
Tanganga, who broke onto the scene in north London last term, has only played seven times this season in all competitions for Tottenham, having not yet featured for the club in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce will bring in midfielder Okay Yokuslu from Celta Vigo on Monday but has resigned himself to missing out on Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
