Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must cut loose his fringe players to free up funds for new signings this summer.

Solskjaer has been instructed to move on United's out of favour players before making moves in the transfer market.

The Mirror says the three players identified as likely to be moved on are Argentine duo Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero as well as England international Phil Jones.

United have been looking for a new centre-back to help partner Harry Maguire and have been linked with a move for Sevilla's £60million rated star Jules Kounde.

Kounde has caught the eye of plenty of potential suitors this season after putting in impressive performances in LaLiga, with Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid all interested.
