Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was delighted to score in victory over Getafe.
Benzema broke the deadlock for the 2-0 win.
He said, "It was a good goal and a fine cross from Vini, I attacked it and put it into the back of the net. I'm going to keep working hard to help my teammates. We came into the game with a lot of confidence and belief. We came here to win, which is always really tough against Getafe.
"This was a really important win and we're just focussed on the league and what we do. We just have to keep on playing like this, as there's still a long way to go."
On the spirit inside the squad, Benzema added: “That's football. Every match is like a cup final. You have to try not to drop any points and win every game. We're professionals and we have a lot of faith in each other. Madrid is the best club in the world and there's always a lot of things said about us."
