Irene’s contributions remembered

Kota Kinabalu: The late Datuk Irene Benggon Charuruks, 70, was laid to rest at the Dandas Cemetery, Kg Pulutan in Manggatal at noon Friday, after a tribute-filled 10am funeral service at Wisma Fook Lu Siew.         

The former General Manager of Sabah Tourism Board from 1991 to 2016 died of a massive stroke on Feb. 15.
