Manchester City midfielder Claudio Gomes says he learned plenty from his loan at PSV Eindhoven.
Gomes spent the spell with Jong PSV, but has no regrets.
"It was a good experience for me I think, because I understood the high level even if I didn't play with the first team," said Gomes to the Manchester Evening News.
"It was a good level in the second team to play with men and the other culture of football and everything else for me was important even if I didn't play with the first team. It helped me in the head to know I need to improve all the time if I'm not playing with the first team.
"I saw the difference between the two clubs and PSV was a really good experience for me. I know it is a good club to improve at because some players of Man City first team went to PSV on loan and came back and now they are in the squad and play some games."
