Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has paid tribute to former manager Frank Lampard.
Thiago says he is only at Chelsea because of Lampard, who was sacked last month and replaced by Thomas Tuchel.
He told Four Four Two: "As soon as I said yes, he sent me a photo where we shook hands when we were captains in the national team.
"He understood exactly what I needed at this point in my career, probably because he had a similar move when he was 36 from Chelsea to Manchester City."
Thiago joined Chelsea last summer from PSG in a Bosman transfer.
