Fulham midfielder Jean-Michel Seri is hoping for a fresh chance with Bordeaux.
Seri signed for Bordeaux on-loan to the end of the season and was presented to the local media yesterday.
He said, "I had a very positive chat with the sports director who is Mr. Alain Roche, who considered me and showed a lot of respect.
"My choice had not yet been made until the call I received.
"My future? As I said, it's a matter of approach and consideration. Afterwards, a player cannot guarantee his future. You must first think about being efficient, the rest will follow, it is linked automatically. I don't think about it there."
